John A. Kolodzne, 67, of Tomah, formerly of Sullivan, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at the Tomah VA Medical Center.
Born on March 17, 1949, in Georgia to Alex and Sarah (Shilkey) Kolodzne.
He was a member of the Catholic faith and Native American heritage.
Surviving are one daughter, Jett (James) Kolodzne-Nehls of Hustisford and one son, John Kolodzne of Watertown; five grandchildren, Axel Kolodzne, Britney Kolodzne, Tori Kolodzne, Tanner Nehls and Jessie Kolodzne; 2 great-grandchildren, Ethan Johnson and soon to be born: Keaton Hustad; his father, Alex Kolodnze of Helenville; two sisters, Dorothy (Tex) Street of Jefferson and Catherine (Gerald) Dahnert of Fort Atkinson; three brothers, James (Beth) Kolodzne of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Kenneth (Linda) Kolodzne of Fort Atkinson and Richard (Nancy) Kolodzne of Madison, Alabama; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Donald Kolodzne.
Funeral services will be held at the Olsen Funeral Home in Jefferson at 11:00AM on Friday, September 23, 2016 with Fr. Tom Coyle officiating.
Burial will take place in Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills, with full military honors.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 10:00AM until the time of services.
