Harlow E. Schultz, 97 of Jefferson died on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Sylvan Crossing of Jefferson.
He was born on November 24, 1920 in the Town of Lake Mills, WI, the Son of Ernest and Ella (Eben) Schultz. Harlow grew up on his family farm in Jefferson County and on August 3, 1946, he married Pearl Haag at Immanuel Methodist Church of Jefferson. The couple were longtime members of Immanuel and in the mid 1950’s purchased a farmstead of their own near Rome, WI. The couple enjoyed 54 years of marriage until Pearl’s death in the year 2000. In 2010, at the age of 90, Harlow finally sold the farm and moved to town. He was a hardworking man who loved his animals, especially his horses and dog. Harlow was known to be stubborn and being outdoors – working, defined his life.
He is survived by: his Son Wayne of Marshall, Grandchildren Jessica (Matt) Martin, Suzanne (Bob) Stuard, Sara (Victor) Palacios, and Michael Schultz; 7 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Harlow is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sons and a daughter in infancy, and a Sister Helen Schultz.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home of Jefferson with Rev. James Rivers presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Rock Lake Cemetery of Lake Mills following the service.
