Jean M. Kakac, 79 of Johnson Creek, died on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Alden Estates of Jefferson.
Jean was born on May 26, 1938 in Hebron, WI, the daughter of Alvin and Ethel Skibbe. She married Ivan Kakac in the early 1960’s and the couple owned a farm on Switzke Road in Johnson Creek. Ivan died in 1975. Jean worked as a meat packer at Stoppenbach Meats for 40 years. She enjoyed bowling and going to Lambeau Field and watch Packer games. Later in life, she enjoyed volunteering with the VFW. She was a long time member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church of Farmington.
She is survived by her Brother-in-Law Edward Hulstein of Jefferson and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brother Ronald, and Sisters Beverly Hulstein and Joan Skibbe.
A funeral service will be at 11:00AM on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church of Farmington with Rev. Paul Burke presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. She will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery of Eagle following the service.
