Ronald J. Ratzburg, 77 of Jefferson, died peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek.
Ron was born on May 4, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Alvin and Pearl (Seipold) Ratzburg. He grew up in Oconto, WI and graduated from Oconto High School in 1959. On July 9, 1960, he married Beatrice Bitters at Zion Lutheran Church of Oconto. The couple had 4 children and moved to Jefferson in 1964. Ron worked as an upholsterer at Schweiger Industries for 30 plus years. He was a long-time and active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Jefferson and was involved in singing groups and dartball leagues. Ron was a people person. He was always quick with joke and loved telling stories. He was a generous man who loved his family and enjoyed spending time camping. Golfing was a passion, even though his bride notes – “he was no Pro!” Ron’s priorities were family, church, and fun. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by: his Wife Beatrice of Jefferson; Children William (Beth) of Fort Atkinson, Tammy (Gerald) Northcutt of Orfordville, Cheryl (Jeff) Ordens of Sun Prairie, and Heather Judge of Jefferson; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ron is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and Brother Charles.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Jefferson with Rev David K. Zandt presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.
