Cynthia A. Fowle, 75 of New Berlin, WI (living in Fort Atkinson), passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Fort Memorial Hospital.
Cindy was born on December 14, 1947, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Ervin J. and Alice C. (Kruszka) Buretta. She marched with the The Spectacle City Mariners Drill Team and graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1966. On October 29, 1966, Cindy married Robert D. Fowle in Milwaukee. The couple had 2 children and enjoyed 53 years of marriage until his death in 2019. When her children were young, she was considered at second mom to many of their friends. She was a hard-working lady who was proud to be in the medical profession. She worked at numerous doctor’s offices in the Milwaukee area, and later became a certified professional coder, retiring from SVA Consulting. She was a “jack of all trades” when it came to arts and crafts and was a talented jewelry maker, floral arranger, painter, and worked with stained glass. Time spent up north at the family cottage was cherished. She and her husband enjoyed trips to Potawatomi Casino and loved being with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She will be missed.
She is survived by: her children Robert Fowle of Oshkosh and Julie (Jason) Wollenzien of Fort Atkinson; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and many friends.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Alan (Beverly) J. Buretta, niece Debbie Stute. and grandson-in-law Brandon Lentz.
An Open-House will be held from 1:00PM – 3:30PM on Sunday, November 26, 2023, with a Time of Sharing at 3:30PM at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home of Jefferson.
