LeEllen M. Jordan, 60 of Oregon, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Jefferson Memory Care.
LeEllen was born on September 3, 1960 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Warren and Mary (Oesterle) Hardin. She attended Monona Grove High School and graduated in 1978. She went on to earn a degree in nursing and worked as an RN in the ICU department of Meriter Hospital in Madison and cared for her patients like they were her family. LeEllen served her country in the US Army Reserves for 20 years, retiring rank of Captain, and was called to action in Desert Storm. She met Todd Jordan on a blind date and on October 3, 1998, she married him in Cottage Grove. LeEllen and Todd loved to travel, and the couple were able to experience many places together. LeEllen loved to take trips to Vegas and making jewelry. She was the quintessential “hockey mom” and her voice was heard clearly in many arenas. She was an avid bowler, loved music, and lived for Buck’s and Maria’s Pizza. She was not only the mother of 3 children, but she helped raise her siblings after her mother died. Her family was the most important part of her life and her memory will be cherished.
She is survived by: her father Warren (Jean) Hardin of Cottage Grove; husband Todd Jordan of Oregon; children Andy (Amy) Otis of Madison, Maraina Otis of Kenosha, and Zach Jordan of Oregon; 3 grandchildren Presley, Declan, and Avery. LeEllen is also survived by her siblings, other relatives, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother and two sisters.
Military honors will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home of Jefferson.
The family is planning to celebrate LeEllen’s life in the summer of 2021.
